ISLAMABAD – The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Imran Khan, has taken the hardcore stand against the rigging allegations in the local bodies’ election in Khyber Pakhrunkhwa (KPK) on Tuesday.
While talking to media outside the supreme court of Pakistan, Imran Khan said that if one think that Local Bodies polls were not fair, then we are willing to conduct polls again under the supervision of Army.
He said that there is no precedent of such type of huge election, and this is the largest election in the history of KPK.
He further argued that PTI has fought election against the alliance of all the other parties of KPK.
He said that all the political forces are airing such remarks of rigging, if it is so, then we are ready for re-election in KPK.
We are not like the PML-N government who is afraid of conducting election again, we will welcome re-election if needed, he added.
According to statistical data, some 84,000 candidates contested in the election for 41,000 seats.
