Local Bodies Polls Underway In KPK

PESHAWAR – The voting for the local Bodies election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has been started at 0800 PST and it will continue without any break till 1700 PST on Saturday.

According to sources, over 84000 contestant are contesting in election for 41000 seats in different constituencies.

Voting for Local Bodies Polls being underway in 24 districts of KPK.

More than 11,000 polling stations have been set up acorss the province in 24 districts of KPK.

According to statistical information, more than 13 Million people to cast their votes in the Local Bodies Election today.

Number of male and female voters in the said province is 780,000 and 570,000 respectively.

High security measures are taken to ensure the peaceful conduction of polls.

Voting process to continue from 8 am till 5 pm without any break.
