ISLAMABAD: Renowned anchorperson and Journalist Dr. Shahid Masood has revealed that he has received serious life threat from a well known personality.
Talking in his programe “Live with Dr. Shahid” he said that he has told the name to former Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) chief General (rted) Hamid Gul.
“I asked him [Hamid] not to disclose the name until something happen to me,” he said.
He told that the threats were given to him for disclosing the corruption scandal.
Dr Shahid said that the personality who threatened him said, “Either I or you will remain alive.”
“I have kept the name secret but if I get killed today by any means, concerned authorities should hand investigation to Dr Shoaib Suddel,” he said.
Another well-known name of Pakistan Journalism Shaheen Sehbai has suggested Shahid Mehmood to disclose that name and send it in written to every government official as well as law enforcement authorities.
