ISLAMABAD – The Chief Election commissioner, Sardar Raza Khan, said on Friday that all the political parties are blaming Election commission for every type of election rigging.
While addressing the complaints regarding violation of code of conduct in local government polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), he screamed that do not blame election commission for every bad thing happening on the earth.
He said that time is not far when people start blaming Election Commission for deadly earthquake in Nepal.
He said that we are not liable for the mistakes done by the politicians and political parties.
He exclaimed that politicians flout the rules and we are held responsible for their misdoings.
He reprimanded the Deputy Commissioner of National Assembly Javed Murtaza severely for taking part in the election campaigns of PML-N candidates before the local government elections in KPK.
He asked him why he did such an irresponsible act. Javed Murtaza could not answer him satisfactorily. Initially he tried to refute such claims but footage was presented to him in which he was clearly seen to be announcing the development plans of PML-N.
