Another case registered against Zulfiqar Mirza

BADIN: Another case of vandalism and strife was registered on Friday against former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza in Badin.

The First Information Report (FIR) was registered against Mirza and 40 of his supporters in Badin police station.

Earlier, Mirza’s supporters took out a rally in the city. During the rally, Mirza’s group clashed with a rival group.

On Thursday the disowned leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), was granted interim bail by a local court in Karachi till May 30 in a case of rioting.

He was booked in the case on charges of rioting, assaulting police and hindering them from performing duties after forcibly climbing atop an armoured personnel carrier outside an Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi.
