Karachi bus incident: Zimbabwe to review security arrangement in Pakistan once again

HARARE: Spokesperson of Zimbabwe Cricket Union said that they will again review security in Pakistan following Karachi incident which killed 44 people.

Zimbabwe cricket authorities said they were examining a report on the safety of playing in Pakistan, ahead of what is scheduled to be first tour by a Test-playing nation since a deadly attack on the Sri Lankan team bus.

Zimbabwe are due to arrive in Pakistan on May 22 to play three one-day and two T20 matches.

Security concerns rose further on Wednesday when gunmen attacked a passenger bus and killed at least 44 people in Karachi.

Zimbabwe are scheduled to play two Twenty 20 (T20) matches while they will also play three One Day Internationals (ODI) in their short visit.

It is pertinent to mention here that Zimbabwe team already have given green signal for Pakistan tour but due to recent incident in Karachi the tour is once again doubtful.
