Hunza Valley Observed Complete Shutter Down

HUNZA – A complete shutter down protest, in the wake of Karachi bus firing incident, was observed in Hunza valley located in the Northern areas of Pakistan.

Sources revealed that tens of thousands of people participated in the protest. The protestors chanted slogans against the government and demanded to arrest the perpetrators.

According to sources, they complained about government’s non-serious attitude and failure to protect minorities ranging from Hazara Balochistan to Gilgit Baltistan.

The protestors also called upon Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif to take necessary steps and bring the culprits to trial.

People from all the segments of life, irrespective of caste and sect, attended the protest and expressed solidarity with the victimized families of Karachi bus carnage.

Meanwhile, they also applauded the move by COAS General Raheel Sharif for postponing his visit to Sri Lanka in the aftermath of the incident which consumed more than 45 innocent lives.
