Quit chewing gum, discard headache

LONDON- Chewing gum is equally liked by young’s and olds, but nobody knew that it causes headache and migraine.

A research, conducted in Tel Aviv University-Israel revealed that chewing gum causes migraine and headache, especially in teens.

A research was conducted on thirty patients. Out of twenty six reported that by halting the chewing of gum, they got partial rid of headache whereas nineteen reported that they got complete resolution of headache.

20 of improved patients were asked to chew the gum again and after practicing it they reported the deterioration of symptoms.

A research conducted by Dr. Watemberg and his co-scientist at Tel Aviv University- affiliated with Meir Medical Centre has been considered as a facilitating element for doctors to cure headache and migraine as it exposed another cause of headache.

It would also facilitate in a way that by the help of this research the need for additional tests and medication will be minimized.

It is important to notice that chewing gum is also another major cause of mouth disorders. If one has a little problem of mouth, chewing gum will aggravate it.

Scientists suggested that by quitting chewing gum just for a single month. Better results can be found.
