ISLAMABAD – Supreme Court of Pakistan suspends the decision of Election Tribunal regarding rigging case of NA-125.
After the arrival of decision, the candidature of Khwaja Saad Rafique has also been restored. The notices have been issued to all the ROs, Hamid Khan and Election commission.
Khwaja Saad Rafique after the restoration of his National Assembly seat said that the interpretation of the tribunal’s decision had become mandatory. He further said that he had been punished for the mistakes of presiding officers and returning officers.
Nothing had been proved with regards to the rigging in NA-125. However the tribunal had given the verdict which had snatched the railway ministry from Saad Rafique.
