Efforts To Reconcile Mirza And Zardari Fail Again

KARACHI – All the reconciliatory efforts to bring Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples’s Party, Asif Ali Zardari, and the disgruntled leader of PPP, Zulfiqar Mirza, fails.

Sources told that the former President Asif Ali Zardari and Zulfiqar Mirza had multiple friends in common, who are making efforts to bring both person to the negotiating table, but of no vain.

Sources revealed that the better-half of the former Interior Minister Sindh, Fehmeeda Mirza, and his son, MPA Hasnain Mirza, also contacted the party leadership for harmonizing the relationships between Asif Ali Zardari and Zulfiqar Mirza.

Upon rejection of the proposal by PPP’s leadership, Fehmeeda Mirza also contacted the former bureaucratic staff of Zulfiqar Mirza.

A close friend of Mirza, Nadir Magsi, had put efforts in bringing the two poles together which also failed subsequently.

Mirza had been disowned by the party for blaming Zardari of running the Sindh government as his ‘business empire’.

Mumtaz Jakhrani said that Zulfiqar Mirza should clarify allegations of being a bank defaulter leveled by Mukesh Chawla. He was pointing finger at others to hide his own shortcomings, he added.

Tariq Masood, on the occasion, challenged Mirza to contest election from his constituency to know how popular he was
