LHC orders PCB To Pay Property Tax Of Gaddafi Stadium

LAHORE – Lahore High Court ordered Pakistan Cricket Board to pay the Property tax levied on Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Wednesday.

Lahore High Court maintains in its decision that relaxation not to pay property tax only allowed to the government owned buildings.

Courts remarks suggests that Gaddafi Stadium does not satisfy the definition of playing field, and PCB should pay the Property tax levied on the building of Gaddafi Stadium.

Lahore High Court said in its remarks that the Building of Gaddafi Stadium is on lease with the Pakistan Cricket Board and there is an accrual of Property tax against the Gaddafi Stadium which is to be paid by PCB.
