BCCI bans Sunil Narine for bowling off spin

MUMBAI: West Indian star off spinner Sunil Narine banned from bowling off-spin delivery, as his action bowling that delivery goes beyond legal limits of ICC.

A decision has been reached on Sunil Narine of Kolkata Knight Riders after he was called for a suspect bowling action in the Indian Premier League.

Narine’s off-spinners have been found to be in breach of the law and he cannot bowl them henceforth in matches organised by BCCI, and in the IPL. The decision was taken by BCCI’s Suspect Bowling Action Committee.

Narine was reported by the match officials on 22nd April 2015 after KKR’s game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Vishakapatnam.
