Pakistan Army Starts Its Rescue Operation In Katmandu

KATMANDU – Pakistan Army has started its rescue operation in Bhaktapur and Katmandu to rescue the earthquake victims in Nepal on Tuesday.

Pakistan Army and other staff departed for Nepal early in the morning on Tuesday on C-130 plane.

Army has started taking part in rescue operation to save the victims of earthquake which struck Nepal with 7.9 magnitudes on Saturday.

The C-130 plane which took the medical staff and AID to Nepal will bring back the Pakistanis from the Nepal.

Some 59 Pakistanis are taken to the plane to be repatriated in Pakistan on C-130.

Bakhtpur is the worst affected area in the recent Quake which is then followed by the Katmandu.

Pakistan Army has started rescue and relief operation in the Bakhtpur first and then to be extended towards Katmandu, said ISPR.
