Zimbabwe gives green signal for Pakistan tour

LAHORE: Finally hunger for international cricket in Pakistan is over, as Zimbabwe Cricket has given approval for tour of Pakistan.  

Zimbabwe Cricket Union has given approval for the tour to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and for that a team of officials from Zimbabwe will reach the country to review the security arrangement for the tour in first week of May.

However, the team will arrive in the mid of May to play three One Day Internationals (ODI) and two Twenty 20 (T20) against the Green-shirts.

All matches will be played in Gaddafi National Stadium Lahore. The team will stay at National cricket academy for during the tour.

It is pertinent to mention here that PCB is giving $500000 to Zimbabwe for the tour which includes match fee, all traveling, daily and other allowances of Zimbabwe team and its officials.

This it first Test playing nation who is visiting Pakistan after Sri Lankan cricket team attack in 2009.
