KARACHI: The vice-principal of the Jinnah Medical and Dental College Dr Debra Lobo who was reported that she succumbed to death after targeted attack in Karachi but now local media is reporting that her condition is now out of danger.
According to Police, she was on her way to collage on a daily routine as she was shot and critically injured on Shaheed-e-Millat Road.
She sustained two bullet wounds in her head and one on back of the neck.
Police identified the victim as American national Dr Debra Lobo, and said she was attacked by four unidentified gunmen as she left the college premises on Shaheed-e-Millat Road.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, where doctors tried to save her life but failed to do so.
Earlier today, Preedy Police Station’s Station House Officer (SHO) was gunned down in Akhtar Colony.
SHO Aijaz Khawaja was in his car when he was severely injured after gunmen fired at him. He was rushed to Jinnah hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
