NEW DELHI: A history has been made in Gujarat as a Muslim girl Afsana Muhammad Badeeh became the youngest mayor of the village.
The village KanKut was not highly populated as it whole population is approximate 4000 people where in a trend had been 24 years ago to appoint a Muslim mayor.
This time same thing happen this time but the only change that she is the youngest mayor ever in the state.
Afsana take part in the official administrative meeting of the village twice in a week and then goes to her family farm on her bike, where she sells cow’s milk and artificial as well as jewellery is also being prepared at her farm.
Afsana told media that she is working hard to provide farmers with adequate facilities. She is also very determined to arrange good educational facilities for the girls of her village..
