Irfan out of  World Cup due to hip injury

ADELAIDE: As Pakistan star fast bowler Mohammad Irfan sustained a hip injury now his is out of World Cup, PCB officials confirmed.

According to details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials confirmed that Irfan’s MRI report which came unclear now he is out at very crucial stage of the tournament.

Earlier we have reported that he will not play the quarterfinal against Australia and now out of the tournament.

He will be sent back to the country while his replacement was not named yet.

However our sources recons that Junaid Khan, Sohail Tanvir and Saeed Ajmal are most likely candidates to replace them after the quarterfinal.

On the other hand Yasir Shah who has been busy in long training session is expected to replace the bowler on the quarterfinal in view of spinner’s brilliant bowling display against Aussies in UAE Test series.
