Irfan could miss quarterfinal against Australia

ADELAIDE: The key of the Pakistan’s bowling attack, Muhammad Irfan is likely to miss rest of the matches of the World Cup 2015.

The doubts raised after Irfan wasn’t able to attend the crucial match against Ireland, which had paved the way for Pakistan team to reach quarter finals.

Pakistan had been dealt a massive blow before the game when Mohammad Irfan, its towering left-arm pacer, was ruled out with a hip problem. But Ehsan Adil, who came into the side in his place, reaped immediate reward when he trapped Paul Stirling in front in the fourth over.

The injury report of the tall bowler is yet to come.

Commentators during the match discussing about the type of injury, Irfan is going through, said that  it takes at least two weeks to recover.

This means Irfan is going to miss next two weeks matches.

Irfan’s report wasn’t out yet, but if his injury is intense, then he would take two weeks to recover.

“And then to get in the rhythm, he will need further time.”
