Taylor brilliant century helps Zimbabwe to set 288 target against India

AUCKLAND: Skipper Brandon Taylor’s brilliant century helped Zimbabwe to post a huge 288 runs total against India in match 39 of World Cup at Eden Park.

This is also very emotional for Brandon Taylor because he is playing his last One-day match for Zimbabwe. TheĀ  29 year-old cricketer also become the leading century score for Zimbabwe.

He made outstanding 138 while Sean Williams scored brilliant 50 as well. Sikander Raza scored quick 28 to guide the total to 287 before getting all out.

Taylor also become the only batsman to score back to back centuries in last two One-day of his career.

Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma picked up three wickets each for the side.
