Misbah completes 5000 runs in ODIs

AUCKLAND: Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has made a unique record as he become the first player to reach 5000 runs mark in One Day International (ODI) cricket without scoring a century.

The 40-year-old skipper has played 160 matches so far in his short career. His career best score is an unbeaten 96 against New Zealand.

He averages 43.41 overs in his career. However, he has scored 41 half centuries.
