ISLAMABAD: Polling for Senate in four provincial assemblies and National Assembly was underway on Thursday amid rigging allegations.
Polls for electing 11 senators each from the four provinces, two senators from the federal capital and four from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) is underway at the Provincial Assemblies.
In Punjab, Pakistan People’s Party leader and former MPA Raja Riaz alleged that rigging was being carried out in the assembly openly.
Polling had to be suspended for a while in Punjab Assembly after Raja Riaz made hue and cry over alleged rigging in the elections.
