SYDNEY: England won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in World Cup warm-up match being played at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Wednesday.
This is the last opportunity for the Green shirts to finalise the team for the match against arch rival and defending champions India which will be played on Sunday (February 15).
England team showed their prime form against West Indies in both department, as bowler able to restrict great West Indian batsmen to 122, while batsmen completing the task on loss of a wicket.
So Pakistan are all set to take on England with momentum on their backs following a victory against Bangladesh.
