Pakistan to invite special guest in 23rd March Parade?

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is likely to follow Indianan footsteps, as the country is eyeing to invite Chinese president Xi Jinping as a special guest on Pakistan day Parade.

India has invited the US president Barack Obama on its national day parade and now Pakistan is eyeing to do the same but the guest would be Chinese President who is scheduled to visit Pakistan in March, sources said.

Earlier Pakistan government announced on Monday that all three forces Army, Navy and Air-force contingents will participate in 23rd March parade.

A venue near Shakar Parian in capital Islamabad has been selected for the event.

President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will attend the parade. All services Chief of Army, Navy and Air force will also attend the parade on Pakistan day.

Foreign dignitaries will also be invited for the event.

The last parade had been held in 2008 when Pervez Musharraf was the president.
