Hafiz Saeed announces JUD protests against blasphemous cartoons

LAHORE: Protest demonstrations would be held in whole country today (Friday) on the call of Jamat-ud-Dawa Pakistan against the publication of blasphemous caricatures of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a French magazine.


The protest demonstrations would be carried out in Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Peshawar. The biggest demonstration would be held at Choburgi Chowk in Lahore, which would be addressed by Amir JuD Pakistan Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and leaders of other political parties. Thousands of people belonging to all walks of life would attend the protest demonstration at Choburgi Chowk.

Meanwhile Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has urged the whole nation to attend the protest rallies and demonstration against the publication of blasphemous caricatures of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a French magazine and for showing attachment with Islamic.

On the appeal of JuD the Ulema will deliver Juma sermons on the topic of protection of honor and dignity of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).  The Ulema will inform the people about the conspiracies of Christians and Jews against the Muslims. The resolutions would be passed and peaceful protest demonstrations would be held outside the mosques.

Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said that the West is showing extremis while publishing the blasphemous caricatures. He said all parties in Pakistan and Muslims countries at the international level should take notice of the issue. He said the war of civilization is being started while instigating the sentiments of Muslims.

He said the rulers of the Islamic countries should adopt solid stance unitedly. He said the pressure should be built on the Western world for carrying out legislation against the blasphemy of all prophets and sacred books, adding that the issue should be taken up at every forum. He said that the sentiments of over 1.5 billion Muslims were harmed through the publication of blasphemous caricatures.

He said no Muslim could tolerate blasphemy of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He said the protection of sayings of the holy prophet is the responsibility of every Muslim. He said the efforts of removing love and honor for Islam from hearts of Muslims would not succeed.
