SEOUL: As Samsung eyeing to launch its flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6, now device’s metal frame leaked online.
It is expected that Samsung is shifting towards metal body smartphones unlike plastic variants. Now the metal frame of the device has been leaked online indicating bit different design.
However, a few rumours are also circulation about the Edge variant of company’s flagship device. The Samsung Galaxy S6 may sport a more premium look with a metal frame around its edges, if newly-leaked images turn out to be accurate.
Samsung introduced its first metal smartphone Samsung Galaxy Alpha in 2014 and also introduced metal frame in Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge.
More specifically, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is rumored to boast a more premium design compared to the Galaxy S5, and some new photos have now leaked online showing a metal frame for the purported smartphone.
French website Nowhereelse has posted some images allegedly showing the metal casing for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to have a QHD screen, boasting a 5-inch display with a high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is further expected to come in two variants with different processors, namely a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or a Samsung Exynos 7420 chipset. The handset will reportedly come with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
Other rumored specs of the purported Galaxy S6 include a 20-megapixel rear camera and a range of internal storage options, which may include a higher-capacity 128GB variant. On the software side, the smartphone is expected to launch with the latest version of Android on board.
With nothing officially confirmed at this point, however, it is highly recommended to take all leaks, rumors, and speculation with a pinch of salt.
