ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has successfully made national consensus for conflicting issue for establishment of special courts and constitutional amendments to taking one step forward in anti-terrorism and anti-extremism fight in the country.
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif-led conference with the leaders of all parliamentary parties of the country agreed establishment of special courts and constitutional reformations.
Sources said that amendments will be included in constitution and army act for establishment of special courts for next two years.
The to-be-formed special courts would only try the persons accused in terrorism cases but it would not be allowed to conduct hearing of the accused in political cases.
Constitutional shelter will be given to the courts while an Amendment Bill would be introduced in the National Assembly for its approval.
