Boxing great Muhammad Ali admitted to hospital

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has been hospitalised with mild pneumonia while he was expected to return home soon as Ali’s disease was caught early, spokesperson Bob Gunnell said on Saturday night.

The three-time world heavyweight boxing champion’s health had left the boxing loving nation on tenterhooks who is also battling Parkinson’s disease.

During a telephonic interview with foreign media, Gunnell said that Ali was admitted in the hospital this morning with ‘a mild case of pneumonia.’

However, the spokesperson rejected to name the hospital details over privacy request by Ali’s family members.
