Anti-terrorism working group holds meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A 10-member anti-terrorism working group held meeting underway in the federal capital Islamabad – Pakistan on Sunday (today).

The AT working group, which was formed by the National Action Plan Committee (NAPC) comprising of top military and political leadership of Pakistan, has convened a session in Punjab House – Islamabad today.

Suggestions related anti-terrorism plan would be reviewed by the working group members in the ongoing session, sources said.

The group will forward its recommendations to the NAPC in order to excogitate anti-terror action plan.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (DG-ISI), DG ISI anti-terrorism unit, DG Intelligence Bureau (IB) Aftab Sultan, former DG Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Tariq Pervaiz, NEKTA coordinator Hamid Ali Khan, Rustam Shah Mohmand, Azam Khan and former secretary interior secretary Tasleem Noorani were attending the meeting.
