PESHAWAR: Information Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani said that the government had issued instructions to all major educational institutions of the province to install Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in a bid to boost security measures at campuses in wake of looming threats of terrorists’ attacks on educational institutions.
The measures have been taken in the wake of the recent barbaric attack on an Army-run school in Peshawar that claimed 148 lives including over 136 students and security agencies reports warning of such attacks on educational institutions across the country.
The KP minister said that security guards of the institutions would also be issued arm licenses and other measures will also be taken to ensure security at the campuses.
The minister said that clues of the Peshawar attack are go to the Afghanistan via tribal areas of the country.
