Fifth ODI: New Zealand set 276 runs target against Pakistan

ABU DHABI: New Zealand set reasonable target of 276 runs against Pakistan despite unsteady opening and defensive styled batting during the decider match of the ODI series being continued at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Kiwis’ skipper KS Williamson became top scorer by adding 97 runs after playing 156 balls with 81.51% strike rate while LRPL Taylor’s not out 88 at 124 balls helped New Zealand to post 276 runs target.

New Zealand had won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in 5th One Day International (ODI) played at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhadbi

Both Test and Twenty 20 series were drawn, and now ODI series came to the decider which will be played at Sheikh Zayed Cricket stadium, Abu Dhabi on Friday.

Pakistan have made two changes in the side as Asad Shafiq and Zulfiqar Babar in for Mohammad Hafeez and Sohail Tanvir while Nathen McCullum and Aunton Devicich are included in the New Zealand playing eleven.
