PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday resolved to cleanse the country from terrorism, adding that Pakistan Army launched operation Zarb-e-Azb to eradicate terrorism from the country.
Speaking to media representatives after his arrival in Peshawar, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the blow-back of Zarb-e-Azb was being felt now.
He called the Peshawar School attack as national tragedy, saying that the whole nation need to be united against the menace.
He resolved that until and unless the country was cleansed from terrorism, this war and effort would not stop and no one should have any doubt about this.
“To eradicate terrorism, we have also spoken to Afghanistan we will fight terrorism together,” he added.
“Such attacks are expected in the wake of a war and the country should not lose its strength,” he added.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak was also accompanied by the Prime Minister on the occasion.
Earlier, the Prime Minister was briefed by the chief minister after his arrival in the provincial metropolis.
It is to be mentioned here that Prime Minister has announced three-day morning over the killing of 126 school children and officials in Peshawar in a militant attack.
