PTI decides not to hold conditional negotiation with govt

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday decided not to hold any conditional negotiations with the government to resolve the ongoing crisis in the country stoked by PTI’s anti-government movement over alleged irregularities in last general elections.

A meeting of PTI Core Committee was held here with party chief Imran Khan in the chair. The meeting was attended by senior PTI leadership.

The Core Committee  dilated upon the prevailing political situation of the country and PTI’s ongoing protest movement against the government.

The committee after going through the details of incidents happened in Faisalabad during its shutdown call on Monday decided not to hold conditional  negotiations with the government.

Sources said that the committee members were of the opinion that the government was not serious in talks. Had the government been serious in negotiation with the PTI, it would have not subject PTI’s peaceful workers to torture and not have turned the peaceful protest into violent, the party chief was quoted by a participant of the meeting.
