Plane crashes into residential area in Gaithersburg, Maryland

GAITHERSBURG, Maryland: A plane reportedly crashed into residential area of Gaithersburg city of the United States’ Maryland state, US media reported.

At least one of the houses caught fire following the plane crash while several other homes reportedly damaged in the incident.

The crash happened in the 19000 Drop Forge Lane, near Snouffer School Road, Montgomery County Fire Department spokesman Pete Piringer said.

The Montgomery County Airpark is a few miles from the scene, NBC Washington reported.

Teams of firefighters have been dispatched by the administration whom reportedly started searching a Gaithersburg neighborhood after a plane crashed into two homes.
