Assailant neither a PML-N worker nor policeman: Rana Sanaullah

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Law Minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that the person filmed by TV cameras by resorting to gunfire on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in Faisalabad was neither an activist of PML-N nor a police official.

Rana Sanaullah hinted that the attacker was a worker of a religious party which is an ally of PTI.



The PML-N leader said that two police teams had been constituted to arrest the attacker and he would shortly be arrested as police had got his footage.

However, he asserted that after investigation it would be clear to which group the accused belong to.

Sanaullah alleged that PTI forced Faisalabad citizens to shut their routine business and social activities by spreading terror, when the the locals rejected Imran Khan’s appeal for a shutter down strike.

Moreover, Punjab government spokesperson Zaeem Qadri claimed that Faisalabad citizens rejected the Imran Khan’s strike call and the businessmen opened by the traders was tantamount of PTI’s failure.
