PM approves talks with PTI leadership

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday approved talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and directed Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to prepare terms of reference for the talks, Samaa News reported.

The PM also called a consultative meeting of key Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) federal ministers on Monday.

The report said that the PM, who had reached the country yesterday (Saturday) night from England, will leave for Lahore shortly.

The PM has instructed the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to prepare terms of reference for the talks going to be held with the PTI leadership.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI chief Imran Khan has announced country wide protests against rigging in last general election starting from Faisalabad on December 8 (tomorrow).

The PTI chief said on Saturday that complete shutter down will be observed in Faisalabad.

The consultative meeting will discuss the PTI demands.
