ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Friday announced that NOC will be issued to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) scheduled grand rally on November 30 in the federal capital, Islamabad.
Chaudhry Nisar while addressing a press conference in Islamabad said that No Objection Certificate (NOC) to PTI would be issued right after his press conference as PTI’s local leadership had signed an agreement to abide by conditions of the NOC.
Nisar said that PTI was allowed to organise its event on Jinnah Ground.
Protesters will not be allowed to gather on Shahrah-e-Dastoor.
However, unarmed security personnel will be deployed to control any untoward situation during the rally.
The agreement restricted PTI leadership to take full responsibility of the upcoming political show including maintenance of law and order, security of participants especially women and children.
PTI will have to disperse protesters without any chaos till 11:59pm on November 30 while public and private properties will not be ransacked during the march.
He admitted that both sides, government and PTI, showed responsibility in reaching the agreement to settle down the issue of NOC.
He reminded PTI violated its agreement with the government during its previous march held in Islamabad in August.
