Younis, Misbah climb in new ICC new test rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan’s Younis Khan climbed to sixth spot with 860 points in the latest ICC Test rankings. 

Pakistan skipper Misbah ul Haq jumped to eighth spot with 815 points. Both Pakistani batsmen scored heavily in the recently concluded series against Australia. Younis scored 463 runs with three centuries in the two-match series. Misbah scored two centuries in the second Test.

Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara grabbed the top spot with 915 points.

South African superman AB de Villiers is at second spot with 888 points while Shivnarine Chanderpau is standing at third with 887 points.
