MULTAN: A prisoner in Multan District Jail has staged a unique protest for meeting his girlfriend, who is also imprisoned in a separate women jail.
According to reports, one of the prisoners in District Jail Multan climbed on the water tank of the prison facility on Wednesday in protest, asking the jail authorities to arrange his meeting with his girlfriend jailed in a nearby women prison.
The prisoner is identified as Ghulam Muhammad. Jail sources confirmed that his only demand was to let him meet his girlfriend.
After several hours of protest, he was allowed to meet his girlfriend.
