Khursheed Shah sends three names to PM for appointment as CEC

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah, who is also a senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has sent three names to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for appointment as Chief Election Commissioner, here on Thursday, November 6.

Talking to media, Shah said that he had sent the names of former Chief Justice Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui, former Justice Rana Bhagwandas and justice Ajmal Mian.

Shah further said that he contacted opposition parties to hold consultation over appointment of ECP Chief and hoped that the decision would be made within two days.
