Imran vows to continue sit-in till PM’s resignation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan reiterated that PTI would not end its ongoing sit-in in Islamabad without the resignation of the prime minister.

Addressing his supporters at D-Chowk, Imran said that PTI would stage protests in all district headquarters against increase in electricity tariff.

The PTI head said that government withdrew hike in electricity tariff due to the fear of PTI’s protests.

He asked National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq to accept PTI MNAs’ resignation immediately

Imran said that he would consider himself as a winner if the nation was awakened.

He announced that PTI would go to Supreme Court against the failure of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to upload Form 14 and 15.

“One and a half year has passed, PTI is yet to get justice regarding May 11, 2013 elections,” he lamented.

Imran said that there was no use of electoral reforms in the future without ensuring accountability of the previous polls.

He expressed firmness that he would not leave the container unless Nawaz Sharif resignation and complete probe into rigging in  general election.
