KARACHI: As many as five people killed 15 others injured in accident near Super Highway head-on collision between a car and a passenger bus.
According to the details, a passenger bus was heading towards Hyderabad from Karachi that tires of the speedy bus burst 20 km far from Tool Plaza on Superhighway and the bus collided with a car coming on other side of road from Hyderabad to Karachi.
Five people in the car died on the spot while 15 passengers of the bus sustained injuries.
Rescue officials immediately reached the accident spot and shifted bodies and injured to a private hospital where injured were shifted to the Abbassi Shaheed Hospital after necessary treatment.
After the accident traffic on both roads of Superhighway suspended and traffic was restored after motorway police removed accident hit vehicles from the highway.
