PPP all set to show political strength in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) all set to hold a public meeting at Bagh-e-Jinnah Park in Karachi on Saturday (October 18).

According to reports, PPP’s co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will disclose some important points regarding General Elections 2013.

The Sindh government has approved a request by Karachi police for suspension of  mobile phone services in the metropolis over security concerns.

Mobile services will be suspended today due to PPP public meeting. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will use Benazir Bhutto’s bullet prove truck, which was damaged in the suicide blast at Karsaz in 2007.

PPP workers from all over the country are coming to participate in party’s public meeting in Karachi.

PPP co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will reach the stage of public rally on from Bilawal House Karachi by the same truck used by former Prime Minister and party’s chairman Benazir Bhutto when she returned to Pakistan.

The truck was kept in Aziz Bhati Station near Expo Center Karachi after the blast in which hundreds were dead and many wounded. However after the party decision the truck was immediately gone for repairing.

It was specially designed for Benazir Bhutto when she announced to return in the country in 2007.

Earlier in Multan during the visit to relief camp of flood victims, Bilawal announced to disclose the rigging in election 2013 but didn’t told the place.Mobile services will be suspended on Saturday due to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) public meeting at Bagh-e-Jinnah Park in Karachi.
