NORTH WAZIRISTAN— A US drone strike targeting militants on Tuesday killed six locals in Kand Ghar area of North Waziristan near the border with Afghanistan.
The drone attack was carried out in North Waziristan where the Pakistan Army is fighting against the militants to wipe out terrorism from the country.
The drone fired two missiles on a house and vehicle killing as many as six people. It was said drone targeted commander Mustaqeem hide out.
It was reportedly third back to back attack in last three days.
The US drone also had attacked in Shawal last night which killed eight people.
On October 5, at least five people were killed and two injured in North Waziristan Agency’s Shawal area in US drone attack.
Drone strikes were halted for six months at the request of the Pakistani government. However, the USA resumed strikes during the Zarb-e-Azb operation.
