BANGALORE: Lahore Lions (LL) defeated Dolphins by 16 runs in 14th match of Champions League T20 (CLT20) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Dolphins couldn’t manage to chase down 164 runs total against Lahore Lions as they manage to score 148 runs.
Skipper Morne Van WyK showed some resistance against Lahore Lions bowling attack but couldn’t manage to hold on for long.
He scored 36 runs while Robbie Frylinck scored 54 runs to guide the team total to 148 runs.
Mohammad Hafeez picked up 2 wickets for Lahore Lions.
Earlier Lahore lions batting first got the disastrous start as their top four batsman back in the pavilion just 34 runs on the score board.
Umar Akmal and youngster Saad Nasim done the recovery work as they manage to pass 100 runs mark without losing any more wicket.
Saad after scoring brilliant 43 runs lost his wicket while Umar score another magnificent half century.
He scored un beaten 73 runs to guide the team total to 164 runs mark.
Robbie Frylinck picked up 3 wickets for Dolphins.
