Brig Asif showed fake Jinnahpur map: Altaf Hussain

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said on Saturday that Brig Asif had shown his own drawing map of Jinnah Pur to journalists.

MQM’s Altaf Hussain while addressing Workers General Convention said that he wanted to ask questions of the establishment of Pakistan.

Altaf Hussain claimed that he had written a letter to Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif a couple of days ago, asking him 14 questions.

The MQM chief asked why an operation was started against MQM on June 19, 1992.

He said that they hadn’t removed the camp of Jamaat-e-Islami even though they were bitter rivals. The quota system was enforced in 1973 for 10 years, but it is still in place, he said.

He claimed that PPP hadn’t developed Sindh despite enjoying power for a very long time. He added that the administrative units, if formed, would boost the development of the country.

“We are against violence and always favor peace and dialogue,” Altaf Hussain said.
