Scotland decides to remain part of Britain

LONDON: Scotland will remain part of the Briton as 28 councils voted against the separation in the referendum to decide about to live with Briton or leave.

Results of 31 councils have now been announced in the referendum and just four of the councils have voted to create the Scotland as independent country.

It looks that majority of the Scottish population have rejected its separation from Great Britain.

Overall 55% of the Scottish population rejected independence while 45 % voted for separation of Scotland from the United Kingdom.

Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond called for unity and the unionist parties to deliver on more powers.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron said he was delighted the UK would remain together and called for national unity.
