ISLAMABAD: Lahore High Court (LHC) has refused to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)to provide judicial officer to work as returning officer (RO) in by election on Javeed Hashmi vacated seat NA-149 Multan, media reported.
According to the report, the ECP had asked to LHC to provide judicial officer for returning officer on the NA-149 by election.
Now, LHC has written his reply and refused to provide judicial officer to ECP.
In wake of LHC refusal the ECP has decided to accommodate district management officer as RO for NA-149 by elections.
