WASHINGTON: As Apple launched its first ever phablet Apple iPhone 6 Plus, now the big question is that could device compete in the phbalet market.
The creator of pahblet category Samsung itself launch is flagship phablets the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and unique device the Galaxy Note Edge.
However, Apple iPhones are one of the most successful smartphones in recent few years, and company was rumored to launch bigger devices which company did in its September 9 event.
The iPhone 6 Plus may have the best specs if we look as a fan but it would not be enough to compete in the lights of Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge.
The iPhone Plus features a IPS 5.5 inch display of resolution of 1080 X 1920 with 401 ppi on the other hand Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have Super AMOLED 5.7 inch display of 1440 X 2560 resolution with 515 ppi .
The iPhone 6 Plus is 4 gm lighter then the Galaxy Note 4. As far as sensors are concerned the Galaxy Note 4 way ahead then iPhone 6 Plus. The Note 4 features an Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, compass, Barometer, Temperature, UV, Gesture and a Heart Rate Monitor.
On the other hand the iPhone 6 Plus have an Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, compass and Barometer.
The Galaxy Note 4 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Quad-core clocked at 2.7 GHz and Exynos Quad-core clocked at 1.9 GHz while iPhone 6 plus features a new A8 chip with M8 coprocessor Dual Core 64-bit.
As far as RAM is concerned the Galaxy Note 4 still in lead with 3GB RAM against iPhone 6 Plus’s 1GB RAM.
The iPhone 6 Plus is the first smartphone to features built-in 128 GB storage without expendable storage on the other hand the Galaxy Note 4 have 64 GB internal Storage and expendable storage supportive up to 128 GB via MicroSD card slot.
Both device have the same GPS A-GPS+GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and NFC certified.
The Galaxy Note 4 also have the dust and water resistance capabilities which lacks in iPhone 6 Plus.
The iPhone 6 Plus features and 8 megapixel rare camera and 1.2 megapixel font camera. In the camera depart the Note 4 doesn’t disappoint either with 16 megapixel rare and 3.7 megapixel front camera sensor. Both devices features LED flash.
So here are some specs from which we can say the Galaxy Note 4 is better than the iPhone 6 Plus.
