Soldier’s body found near Nawan Pind village

NAWAN PIND: A soldier’s body was found after three days struggle by rescue teams near Nawan Pind village on September 9.

He had drowned three days ago during relief work in Nala Palkhu, Bajwat.

Rescue teams had been searching the body since the incident occurred.

Pakistan has been hit hard by floods, particularly its Punjab province. More than 150 people have died and over 100 villages have been inundated. Rescue operations are continuing.
