ISLAMABAD: Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has rejected all the allegations leveled on him by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and termed it baseless and degrading.
In address to parliament joint session on Friday, he said that no respectful member of the parliament will stay in the parliament if I left the house.
Aitzaz said that ministers voice have strengthened after support of the parliament through the joint session.
He said that the joint session was called on the request of Khursheed Shah and him.
He said that I could end resistance to protest led by PTI and PAT but I believe in democracy adding it is not right to take resignation forcefully.
The senator said that he played a little role to overthrow Musharraf.
He thanked PM Nawaz Sharif on his kind words and apology.
